Müller only on the bench? |

Hoeneß: Who has to be seeded in our World Cup team!

Plain text from Uli Hoeneß (70)!

After the 3: 3 draw in the last Nations League game of the DFB team against England in Wembley, the former Bayern boss was on “RTL”. And Hoeneß was particularly taken with a DFB star: Jamal Musiala (19 / BILD-Note 2).

When asked if he was a fan of the Bayern star, Hoeneß said: “Yes, a big fan. He was under a lot of pressure leading up to the game. And he withstood the pressure.”

And further: “If he plays like he does today, he has to be a seed for both Bayern and the national team.”

So it is clear for Hoeneß: The young star must be in the German World Cup team. But what does that mean for teammate Thomas Müller (33)? Is the bank threatening him at the World Cup?

Did you hear that too? Alarming statement by Gündogan!

Musiala was already allowed to play in the starting XI for the original Bavarian against England and was convincing across the board. First he took the penalty to make it 1-0, which Gündogan safely converted. Then he stole the ball from England’s Harry Maguire in his own sixteen and started the 2-0 lead by winning the ball.

A dream came true for Bayern’s super talent (four goals in six games this season) when he played at Wembley. Musiala, who also played twice for the England U21s before he decided to join the DFB: “England is my second home. As a boy it was always a dream to play at Wembley.”

Expert Lothar Matthäus (61) also makes a commitment: “If van Gaal (ex-Bayern coach Louis van Gaal; editor’s note) said ‘Müller always plays’, Musiala would always play for me.”

Flick can hardly avoid Musiala for the first eleven at the World Cup – to Thomas Müller’s chagrin?
