Dewa United vs PSS Sleman, Super Elja’s determination to continue the positive trend while away

Sleman

PSS Sleman visited Dewa United’s headquarters at the Indomilk Arena, Tangerang, Sunday (4/9) evening. Super Elja, nicknamed PSS is determined to extend the record of never losing when competing in the opponent’s cage.

So far, from the 3 away matches that have been played, Ze Valente and colleagues have won two draws, against RANS Nusantara and Arema FC. While one other match won against Persik Kediri.

The slick record in this away match is inversely proportional to the home game. Of the four home matches, PSS could only pack 3 points from the victory against Barito Putera and the other three ended in defeat.

“This is inversely proportional, we always get points away from home, while at home we only get three points,” said PSS Sleman coach Seto Nurdiyantoro during a press conference session before the match, Saturday (3/9/2022).

“With a lot of home points lost, we will try to steal points here,” he added.

The AFC Pro licensed coach is still looking for the cause of PSS’s poor performance at the drum. He was only able to estimate that with the full support of the fans, the players had mental pressure.

“I don’t know for sure, but analytically it is possible that at home players have mental burdens, only outside sometimes they get loose, but the hope is that in front of home or away everything is the same. We are just looking for why (the cause),” he said.

On the other hand, in the match against Tangsel Warriors, the nickname of Dewa United, it will not be easy. Because, of the 21 players who were brought to Tangerang, some players are still in poor condition.

“Almost 10 more players are injured, meaning there are not many choices. There are also some players that we have brought in whose condition may not be 100 percent, but the hope is that the desire, the will of the players will make the difference,” he said.

In addition, Dewa United in the last match also got positive results after overthrowing PSIS Semarang. Of course, this is a valuable asset for Nil Maizar’s foster children. However, Seto still instructs his foster children to appear loose and fight for 90 minutes.

“God (United) is also in a positive trend, from the game he is also capable, hopefully our players can concentrate for 90 minutes,” he concluded.
