Dynamo plays in the Jägerpark!
Dynamo meets the ATV “Frisch Auf” Wurzen in the 3rd round of the Sachsenpokal. Now it’s clear: the game will be played on Saturday (4 p.m.) in Dresden’s Jägerpark!
The game was originally supposed to take place in Eilenburg (BILD reported). But there were security concerns there because Lok Leipzig hooligans wanted to make a stink. That’s why the new idea was to play in Pirna-Copitz on Saturday (September 24, 4 p.m.).
But nothing came of it either. Reason: A track and field sports festival held at the same time!
The Saxon Football Association then scheduled the cup game for Sunday (4 p.m.) in Copitz. That, in turn, did not suit Dynamo at all. In order to stay in the Saturday rhythm, the third division team definitely wants to play a day earlier.
That’s why the black and yellow went on their own in search of a venue – and found what they were looking for at SC Borea! That made things easier. Dynamo’s team manager Justin Löwe has been playing with the North Dresden team since this season.
On Wednesday, the SGD finally agreed with seventh division club Wurzen, who are the official hosts of the game, on Jägerpark as the venue for the cup kick on Saturday.
The Saxon Football Association has now also agreed!
