Croatia has secured a place in the Final Four of the Nations League on the final match day. It won in Austria 1-3 and therefore France does not relegate to Division B.

In his “old age”, Luka Modric opened the scoring for the Croats after just seven minutes. He skilfully placed the ball in the short corner past Lindner in goal.

The visitors’ lead was barely two minutes on the board. Baumgartner managed to get in front of his man and hit his head: 1-1.

In the second half, the Croats finished it all off in three minutes. First, Livaja hit the mark and immediately afterwards Lovren gave the neck shot to Austria, which drops out of Division A. That should not have happened, because especially in the first half, the Austrians missed many chances to make it 2-1.
