This Wednesday night was presented the Soccer-Tennis America Cup 2022which will take place in Guanajuato from September 23 to 25 and in which Mexico, Colombia, Chile, the United States and Bolivia will participate, in a discipline that is growing and that aspires to professionalism.

Through the Mexican Football Tennis Federation, which presides over José Paoli, this contest was announced in a sample of the seriousness of this disciplinewhich will be played in the men’s, women’s and mixed pairs branch.
The leader stressed that one of the goals of soccer-tennis is “change lives through sport, promote health, recreation” and incidentally be inclusive, since this sport “can be played among children, youth and adults, regardless of age and gender”.
Present at the draw for this Copa América were JOsé Amórtegui, Director of Sports Development; Sylvia Hernández, Chief Strategy Officer, and former soccer player José Luis “Parejita” Lópezwho highlighted the importance of the creation of this project, to which he joined and in which he has also participated.
In the male branch, 13 pairs from six countries will participate, formed into three groups, one of five and two of four, the best in each sector and the two best third places will qualify for the quarterfinals, while in the women’s branch they will play all against all and the best four will advance to the semifinals. In the mixed branch there will be 10 participating couples divided into two groups of five and the best two in each sector will play the semifinals.
