Another long weekend of checks on the roads of Trasimeno. A young man in his twenties, checked driving a car in the middle of the night between Friday and Saturday, was surprised with a BAC of 1.4 grams per liter. For this he was denounced on the loose. His driving license was immediately withdrawn. In the last week, road traffic checks have made it possible to identify four drivers with a blood alcohol level higher than allowed, all reported to the judicial authorities.
During the Thursday afternoon, in Magione, the soldiers of the operational Nucleus and Radiomobile checked two Albanian citizens – respectively one just over twenty years old and the other, already known to the police, almost thirty years old – who were transporting inside the car a “stick” of hashish weighing 72 grams. The carabinieri found the drug hidden under the driver’s seat, inside an enclosure. Both were reported for detention for the purpose of drug dealing.
On Friday, also in Magione, the carabinieri checked a car driven by a young man of Albanian origin who was found in possession of an aluminum baseball bat 60 centimeters long, and a knife with a pointed blade of 13 centimeters and about 10 long handle, both hidden inside the vehicle cabin.
