It’s just not going well for Werder at home!

Bremen has now been waiting for a home win in the Bundesliga for 560 days. The 0-1 draw against Augsburg is the ninth winless game in front of a home crowd in a row.

Werder celebrated their last win at the Weser Stadium on February 26, 2021 against Frankfurt (2-1). Last season, the team of coach Ole Werner (34) played in league 2 after being relegated.

And the Ducksch curse continues. He scored his last Bundesliga goal 1329 days ago. And even a penalty doesn’t help the striker. In stoppage time (90 + 4) he awarded the point and thus a counter for Werder.

It’s crazy what happens afterwards: The Werder fans behind the goal of Augsburg keeper Gikiewicz penetrate briefly into the interior and obviously feel provoked by the Pole.

But as quickly as they came, the followers are gone. The game can be completed normally.

Demirovic scored the goal of the day. The striker is served in the middle by Berisha and only has to push the ball over the line to make it 1-0 (63′).

Which: First of all, Füllkrug stops, picks up the offside and raises both hands. And Jung is also in the middle, raising both arms in the air, probably hoping for offside.

But the goal correctly counts and Werder’s home nightmare continues.
