The Bejamín Mendy scandal, accused of possible rape by at least eight women, reached another Manchester City player, no less than one of the most expensive stars.
This is Jack Grealish, who had to appear before the jury this Friday to clarify his presence at one of the parties where the crimes would have occurred.
The Mirror newspaper explained that the England international had sex with a woman at teammate Benjamin Mendy’s house, the same night she was allegedly raped, as heard in Chester Crown Court.
Grealish is said to have had sex with the 23-year-old woman who was allegedly raped by Mendy’s co-defendant, Louis Saha Matturie, on the same night in August last year.
The player in question was mentioned by the woman identified as number 10 (none of the alleged victims can be identified), who was 17 years old at the time of the events. She said the woman raped her twice, the same night as her party at her house in Prestbury, Cheshire, last August.
After one of the alleged rapes, Woman 10 told the police that she went looking for Woman 11 in a room and that once there she heard her mention what is now known: “she told me that she had sexual relations with Jack . I don’t know if that was consensual or not. I don’t know what that was. But she was talking about it.”
Thus, Grealish appeared involved in a scandal that every day reveals more lurid details of the possible abuses of Mendy.
