Thunderbolt in Boston, a little less than a month before the resumption of the NBA championship: the head coach of the Celtics, Ime Udoka, could face disciplinary action, including a possible significant suspension, for having “violated organizational rules.
According to Chams Charania, from the site The Athletic, Udoka allegedly had an inappropriate extramarital intimate relationship with a female staff member of the team. However, it is specified that the relationship was consensual.
The Celtics are in discussions to make a decision, which could be announced this Thursday. It is rumored that a significant suspension, which could go up to one year (!), could be decided against Udoka.
Recall that the latter took the Boston franchise to the NBA finals last season (2-4 defeat against the Golden State Warriors).
