Athens won the Super 6 “Copa Ciudad de Córdoba”, after beating Instituto in the final by 94-89, at the Carlos Cerutti Sports Center.
The Greek shouted champion and took an economic sum of $500,000. This achievement will serve as a mental injection to face the next season of the National Basketball League, in which he will debut on Thursday, October 6 at home against Boca Juniors.
In the women’s championship, the winner was Banda Norte from Río Cuarto, who defeated James Craik’s Chañares by 75-66, and also took the trophy plus the silver prize.
The Super 6 was organized by the Municipality of Córdoba and the Undersecretary of Sports, as a prelude to the National League and the Argentine League.
