Alba wins the penultimate test match: 103:88 in Braunschweig

Alba Berlin is in good shape heading into the new season in the Basketball Bundesliga. The defending champion won his penultimate test match at the Basketball Löwen Braunschweig behind closed doors with 103:88 (44:33). Before the start of the new season on September 28 with the home game against the Hamburg Towers, Alba will welcome the Rostock Seawolves next Sunday (3:00 p.m.) in the Oranienburg MBS Arena.
Against Braunschweig, Alba head coach Israel Gonzalez was able to fall back on the two Israeli EM returnees, Tamir Blatt and Yovel Zoosman. Jaleen Smith also traveled with the team but has not yet played.
With a strong third quarter (34:21), the Berliners laid the foundation for a secure victory. The most successful shooters were Christ Koumadje with 13 points and Gabriele Procida and Yanni Wetzell with twelve points each.
