Alan Montero received the summons to the Para Badminton World Cup

Alan Montero is a former soccer player, who knew how to play in the lower levels of Colón de Santa Fe. But in 2019 he suffered an accident in one of his legs, which forced him to change his profession. However, he overcame it and, with great effort, acquired a prosthesis in order to pursue Para badminton.

The striking thing is that just a year and a half ago he began his journey in the sport. In turn, just a year ago he began to compete in official competitions in the discipline, in the province of San Luis, where he managed to get on the podium.

A few days before, Alan had happily posted on his networks that he had finished paying for the prosthesis. And this Tuesday he got the great news, when he received the summons to the World Cup: “The dream of participating in the Paralympic Games is always present,” he had told Elonce a week ago.

On the other hand, it will be the first time that Argentina will appear at the Para Badminton World Cup, and it will do so with the presence of the Paraná native.
