Shin Tae Yong back to praise the coach of Persib Bandung Louis Milla sky high after being praised by the Spanish coach.
Luis Milla praised Shin Tae Yong after bringing the Indonesia U-20 national team to the finals of the 2023 U-20 Asian Cup.
This achievement was obtained by Indonesia U-20 after beating Vietnam 3-2 in the last match of Group F Qualifying for the 2023 U-20 Asian Cup in Surabaya.
Ahead of the duel Indonesia vs Curacao on FIFA Matchday at GBLA Stadium, Saturday (24/9), Shin Tae Yong flattered Luis Milla again.
“Regarding Luis Milla, I honestly didn’t know him. Once I became the national team coach, there were many stories about him. But I saw that he was a gentle and kind person,” said Shin Tae Yong, Friday (23/9).
“Because of that he can judge me well,” said Shin Tae Yong added.
The 52-year-old coach has long been impressed with the figure of the Spanish coach. According to Shin Tae Yong, fellow coaches should respect each other.
“I also had experience with the Spanish coach in 2018, during the Russia World Cup. With the two Spanish coaches, I have had the experience that Spaniards are good, gentle and cool,” said STY.
“So maybe fellow coaches respect each other and respect other coaches,” said Shin Tae Yong continued.
After Indonesia U-20 went to the 2023 U-20 Asian Cup, Luis Milla congratulated Shin Tae Yong.
“First, I would like to congratulate Shin Tae-yong who succeeded in bringing the national team through. I am always happy if any player in the club can join the national team. It is very important for the career of every player,” said Milla, who is also a former coach of the Indonesian national team.
Luis Milla also promised to watch the Indonesia vs Curacao match at GBLA, this weekend.
