Adapted basketball festival in L’Alqueria with the regional finals

L’Alqueria del Basket will host the next October 1 and 2 the finals of the Regional Adapted Basketball Championship. A final phase of the tournament that was presented on Tuesday on the central court, with the presence of the leading team in this modality, Aderes Burjassot, MSC who, together with Valencia Basket, is making a great commitment to promoting this sport, and Josep Miquel Moya, General Director of Sport.

The competition, open to the public, will be held next Sunday, October 2 and will feature the participation of 4 clubs: Aderes Burjassot, Alter Valencia, United Godella and Deporte without adjectives. The first of the four, Aderes, a national reference and which inspired the film champions, will also have the support of MSC until 2025, which is entering strongly to promote this sport. “We want to give back to the city of Valencia everything it has given us. At MSC we like to promote sport and healthy habits, teamwork and passion are our day to day. Solidarity, respect. We wish Aderes and all its members the best of luck, they are going to leave the flag very high” said Francisco Lorente, General Director of MSC.

Jose Vicente Maties, vice president of Aderes, thanked the sponsorship of MSC, as well as the support of Valencia Basket and the institutions. “Thank you for the support so that our boys and girls can continue with the inclusion of people with intellectual diversity. We hope that this project will be organized with the best results for the sport of adapted basketball”.

Mari Angeles Vidal, coordinator of L’Alqueria, revealed the details of next Sunday’s appointment. “We host the regional championship within our framework of collaboration with this discipline, with four teams that will participate in the final in what I hope will be one more basketball party. We will also host the day within the framework of the Jocs Esportius de la Generalitat for special educational centers, hosting the basketball modality here on January 17, there are already 8 centers registered. It is important to maintain this commitment, which we will now be able to consolidate with MSC”.

Josep Miquel Moya, closed the act. “We are very committed to building an egalitarian society. We have a long way to go. And one of the areas in which we must pay special attention is sport, which has a lot of socializing power. In this line we have subsidized more than 200 projects and we have quadrupled the days of adapted sports. This is due in part to the great commitment of Valencia Basket, and the efforts of clubs like Aderes. I also take this opportunity to thank the sponsorship and help of MSC. I also want to remember the adapted sports federations, both FEDI and FESA for all their work” he concluded.
