‘AC Milan pays 18 million for Anderlecht flop’

The transfer market has only been closed for a few weeks, but many clubs are already thinking about January. At AC Milan, for example, they are already working on the winter, despite the fact that they are already very active in the summer. With Charles De Ketelaere, Divock Origi and Aster Vranckx, three Belgians settled at the Rossoneri, who now also want to get a player with a Belgian past.

According to Foot Market AC Milan is close to the arrival of Jakub Kiwior. The 22-year-old Polish defender was still working in the youth of Anderlecht from 2016 to early 2019. There he was brought in as a great talent, but in the end he could not live up to the high expectations and disappeared with drooping legs to Slovakia.

There, however, he developed well with Podbrezova and MSK Zilina, securing a transfer to Spezia a year ago. Kiwior grew into a fixed value in the Serie A and because of that he was also allowed to make his debut with the Polish national team in June. He was allowed to play 90 minutes against both the Netherlands and the Red Devils.

MILLIONS

Barely 3.5 years after Kiwior was allowed to leave Anderlecht for barely 10,000 euros, he is now on the verge of making a mega transfer. Milan is said to have already reached an agreement with Spezia on a transfer fee of no less than 18 million euros, while talks with Kiwior itself are also well advanced. At Neerpede they might even hit themselves in the head…
