AGI – ‘Armed’ with a 5-liter petrol can, a baseball bat and a lighter, he was ready to set fire to the home of the ex-girlfriend’s parents: this is the accusation against a man arrested by the state police of Asti – in the act of crime – after a series of persecutory acts against the young woman.
The latest episode, the investigators have reconstructed, dates back to a few days ago when, after threatening his ex-girlfriend on the phone, he headed to the apartment of her parents with the intention of starting a fire. The agents, warned by the woman, blocked him when he arrived.
From subsequent investigations other episodes emerged: the man in jealousy because left by his girlfriend had forced her, according to the accusatory picture, to get on board his car brandishing a knife, destroying her cell phone and glasses. Victims, according to the accusation, were also the parents of the young woman: in fact, the tires of two cars were cut. In the last period, to escape persecutory acts, the girl had been persuaded by her mother and father to leave Asti for some time, staying with relatives in a safer place.
During house searches, numerous short weapon ammunition and three marijuana plants were then discovered in the availability of the suspect. The arrest of the man was validated by the investigating judge who, at the request of the prosecutor, ordered the custody in prison.
