The Youth Judo World Championships in Guayaquil, Ecuador are now continuing.
According to AZERTAC, Azerbaijani judoka Eljan Hajiyev took third place in the tournament. He won the bronze medal fight against Maksim Merlan of Kazakhstan.
Azerbaijan is represented by eight athletes in the competition, which is attended by about 400 athletes from 65 countries.
