Yeison Gordillo close to signing with Santa Fe: San Lorenzo will leave the driver free to be able to sign | Colombian Soccer | Betplay League

Yeison Gordillo had to take a break in his career, as San Lorenzo de Almagro began to fail to meet the financial commitments made to the Colombian soccer player. That is why he entered litigation and aimed to return to Colombian soccer as a free player.

Independiente Santa Fe held talks since Gordillo set foot on Colombian soil, as he intends to sign him to reinforce the squad led by Alfredo Arias, but things in Argentina progressed very slowly, and the hiring of the midfielder was questioned.

This Tuesday Gordillo was expected at the offices of the Bogota club to reach an agreement and sign the contract that would join him to Santa Fe. However, the player did not show up because he could not fix his contractual situation with San Lorenzo.

A few hours after the book of passes for free players in Colombian soccer was closed, Yeison Gordillo contacted the white-haired leadership this Wednesday, and gave a forceful and definitive answer.

In the last few hours, San Lorenzo and Gordillo agreed to terminate the Colombian’s contract, negotiating the debt that the Argentine club has with the player. Thus, he will be a free player and they are only expected to send the respective documents so that Yeison can sign with Santa Fe between now and Friday, to be registered with Dimayor.
