Cologne (SID) – Andrea Petkovic has made a good return to the tournament after her injury-related quarter-finals in Hamburg. The 34-year-old from Darmstadt made it into the round of 16 at the WTA tournament in Washington with a 6: 2, 6: 2 against the Danish Clara Tauson, who was seeded number eight.
