Tacko Fall – 7-foot-6

By far the greatest NBA player of the 2021-22 season was Cleveland Cavaliers center Tacko Fall.

The Senegalese giant, who stands at a whopping 7ft 6 in height, has performed for both the Cavaliers and Celtics and now plays for the Cleveland Chargers in the NBA’s G-League.

Fall also set the record for the longest wingspan in NBA history, which stretched to an incredible 8-foot-2.

In second place are two Dallas Mavericks players – Serbian Boban Marjanovic and Kristaps Porzingis from Latvia.

Both players are huge 7-foot-3s.

Gheorghe Muresan – 7-Fuß-7

Towering above everyone else at a whopping 7-foot-7, Gheorghe Muresan isn’t just the tallest man to grace an NBA court — he’s one of the tallest people alive.

The Romanian towered over the competition in the 1990s, playing for both the Nets and Wizards.

But Muresan will be joined in first place by another legendary basketball giant.

Manute Bol – 7-foot-7

Manute Bol is widely regarded as one of the greatest shot blockers of all time and set numerous records during his time in the NBA.

Amazingly, the Sudanese-American recorded more shots blocked than he scored – a feat no doubt credited to his 7ft 7 height.

Bol died in 2010 after becoming a human rights activist following his impressive basketball career in his native Sudan.

Slavko Vranes – 7-foot-6

While his career at the top of the sport was short-lived, Vranes made his mark as one of the tallest players of all time at 7ft 6.

Originally a second-round draft pick by the New York Knicks in 2003, the Montenegrin was dropped by the team in December.

Yao Ming – 7-Fuß-6

Yao Ming, one of the most famous players on the list, became a global star because of his enormous stature.

During his playing days with the Houston Rockets from 2002 to 2011, he was the league’s tallest player and an eight-time NBA All-Star.

Ming was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016 and has been the chairman of the China Basketball Association since 2017.

Who is the greatest WNBA player of all time?

The WNBA has featured some of the greatest women in the world, and topping the list is no easy feat.

But one woman towered above the others.

Malgorzata Dydek – 7-foot-2

Dydek is the only WNBA player to ever stand over six feet tall. He is 3.5 inches taller than second-place Zheng Haixia.

The Polish player appeared as a center for the Connecticut Sun and Los Angeles Sparks before retiring in 2008.

Malgorzata tragically passed away in 2011.
