VfL Wolfsburg: Max Kruse railed against the Wolfsburg police Sports

Max Kruse (34) is now showing solidarity with the Bremen fans!

Why? On the way to the Bundesliga opener against Wolfsburg (2-2) last Saturday, Werder fans were arrested at the Wolfsburg train station. Several were searched and their personal details recorded.

An absolute cheek for Kruse: “What the police did to the Werder fans is absolutely absurd! Where do we live,” asks the cult striker on his Instagram profile.

Kruse railed against the police

The former Werder kicker welcomes the reaction of the fans. Because of the excessive measures, many supporters went straight back home.

“I think it’s completely okay that they resisted it,” emphasizes Kruse. “I wouldn’t have done it either. If only as a matter of principle.”

Wolfsburg’s unofficial entertainment officer continued: “I mean, we already live in a free world. And just because I’m going somewhere doesn’t mean I have to show my ID and say who I am. So everything done right!”

VfL also shows solidarity with the Werder fans and reimburses them for the costs of tickets that have not been validated.

The Wolfsburg police informed the club on July 11 that the game was classified as a dangerous “red game”. VfL boss Jörg Schmadtke (58) does not understand that: “I was surprised. According to my information, it was a green game.”

Werder had the same information before the game. Professional boss Clemens Fritz (41): “It’s absolutely absurd to encircle our fans at the station. Nobody did anything. I don’t know who wanted to realize that. cheek!
