After fan attack against Wolfsburg stars |

Stadium ban for Jena chaos

After the cup game between Carl Zeiss Jena and Wolfsburg (0:1), some chaotic players attacked VfL. On the way from the dressing room to the team bus, Jakub Kaminski (20), Kevin Paredes (19) and substitute keeper Pavao Pervan (34) clashed with Jena supporters.

A scuffle and discussions ensued. Carl Zeiss employees and other fans intervened, protected the guests and brought them to safety in the VIP area.

Four perpetrators have now been identified after viewing the video recordings. According to BILD information, these are three Jena supporters from the interior and one from the player attack.

Carl Zeiss is banning the quartet from the premises with immediate effect. Criminal charges were also filed. The Stadium Bans Commission will also deal with these people.

Punishment for fan chaos!

In Jena, the behavior of the chaotic is condemned. The club bodies promptly apologized to VfL for the attacks on the Wolves stars.

In the future, it should be prevented that the football professionals of the opposing team come to the stadium forecourt via the press room – like after the cup game last Saturday.

From now on, the stars should be guided safely to the team bus via the VIP area.

There were other ugly scenes in the game against Wolfsburg. At the start of the game, pyrotechnics were flared by both fan camps. In addition, Jena and Wolfsburg supporters fought in the guest block shortly before and after the game.
