Gattuso confirmed at a press conference the departure of Gonalo Guedes of Valencia: “Corona has called me and explained the Guedes situation to me. An English club has formalized an offer for a lot of money and we have to accept it. Surely we will do anything to improve the team”.
“I’m angry because after a game against a great team we’re only talking about Guedes. I understand you, but… The club couldn’t refuse the money they were offered for Guedes”, said the coach.
