Basketball B League Utsunomiya Brex opened the team practice to the press at a gymnasium in Kanuma City, Tochigi Prefecture. After winning the championship for the first time in five seasons, he started for a new season aiming for consecutive victories.
I spent an hour and a half sweating through basic training, confirmation of tactics, and shooting practice. Manager Norio Sasa gave instructions mainly to new players such as Kohei Kasai and Yang Jaemin.
After practice, Kasai said, “I want to get to know my teammates as soon as possible. I’m looking forward to competing in front of the enthusiastic fans.” Yuuki Watanabe called out, “Not only the players but also the fans can aim for consecutive victories. I want them to fight together this season.”
