Three of the four Frenchmen entered in the 110m hurdles of the European Athletics Championships in Munich have qualified for the final scheduled for this Wednesday at 10:22 p.m. The defending champion, Pascal Martinot-Lagarde, will be accompanied by young Sasha Zhoya and Just Kwaou-Mathey. The fourth Blue, Aurel Manga, did not pass the cut of the semi-finals.
Martinot-Lagarde (30), bothered by repeated physical glitches since the start of the summer season but who has regained good form in recent weeks, won his semi-final in 13”35. Zhoya (20) and Kwaou-Mathey (22) took second place in their respective series, in 13”46 and 13”30. It was the recent world bronze medalist, the Spaniard Asier Martinez, who ran the best time in the semi-finals in 13”25.
