The Sport Festival returns to Alpignano – Turin Today

Third edition of the Sport Festival in Alpignano. A day of celebration and conviviality, to bring citizens closer to sport and to make known and appreciate the sports offer of our territory, always with particular attention to inclusive sport.

Numerous sports activities will be present: tennis, archery, volleyball, judo, football, dance, gentle gymnastics, table tennis, bodyweight gymnastics, zumba fitness, athletics, motor skill learning, Lacrosse, Flag football, baseball, floorball and Sunday awareness games, at 11 am gymkhana relay and starting at 2 pm, also triathlon.

The event will take place inside the archery sports facility in via Collegno n. 31: Saturday 3 September, at 5 pm official opening of the event and sporting activities, at 9pm we sing and dance with DJ Antonello. On Sunday 4 September the sport festival continues with sports activities, hiking and mountain biking. Throughout the day, each association will have the opportunity to present their activities on stage accompanied by a demonstration.

The choice of carrying out the sports festival, this year in the archery field and last year in the “Allende” football field, allows citizens to know and experience the municipal sports facilities and helps to always create more cohesion between the same sports associations to promote future activities together, perhaps within the same sports facilities.

Two excursions are scheduled on Sunday, on foot and by bike, to discover our territory.

– At 10.30 departure of the walk “Along the banks of the Dora” a path with unpublished and interesting naturalistic glimpses with visit to the new hydroelectric power plant on the Dora river, made by R&C Energia, a company of the Egea Group.

– At 15:00 “Alpignano Bike Tour”, two routes of 10 and 15 km to discover the area. MTB recommended and helmet worn and fastened.

The ANA Group Association of Alpignano will offer the possibility to purchase the “Packed lunch”. The proceeds will be donated to the purchase of sports equipment available to all, which will be located in a public park.
