The Judo finals corresponding to the Municipal Tournament successfully concluded within the framework of the celebrations of Sport Fest 2022, with the participation of more than 60 judokas from the border region.
Ciudad Juarez, Chih. – The vice president of the State Judo Association, Nicolás Segura, announced that the activities were carried out with the support of the Municipal Government headed by Mayor Cruz Pérez Cuéllar and the Municipal Institute of Sports and Physical Culture of Juárez, at the Bertha Municipal Gymnasium. “We are very happy with the organization and the initiative that the Municipal Sports Institute led by Juan Escalante had, where all the teachers have been spontaneously participating in one way or another in the training of all the boys together,” he said. .
Previously, each and every one of the martial artists had been prepared with different teachers and in a competitive environment, in coordination with all the sensei, a judo camp was developed for five consecutive days.
For the development of the sporting event, work was carried out in conjunction with the Municipal Institute of Sport and Physical Culture of Juárez, where it was supported with the sports facility, logistics, medals and commemorative shirts for Sport Fest 2022, and the Municipal Judo League with the direction technique.
Regarding the finals of the tournament, Nicolás Segura reported that practice matches could be seen with the rules of the Mexican Judo Federation.
“There is no doubt that we had a significant participation of different in different categories, with 80 judoka from this border from 4 and 5 years old up to 13 years old and over 14 years old,” he said.
