The Josetxo Etxandi Memorial kicks off this afternoon in its 46th edition, organized by the Arkirun ball club. The tournament consists of three categories, one for women and two for men. Women start in pairs from the quarterfinals.
Men, meanwhile, have two categories. There will be matches in pairs of the First Division and also clashes within the Four and a Half (etorkizuneko izararrak). Today Canabal and Iztueta enter the fray against Santxo and Markel Lizeaga. Next, Espinal and Garmendia against Andoni Ugalde and Erasun. The matches will be played over the next few days and the finals are announced for Wednesday, September 14.
