The FCGB’s response to the Voix du Nord article (read below) was not long in coming.
The daily newspaper Sud Ouest published the denial of the Girondins de Bordeaux: “Contacted this Friday morning, the Bordeaux club informed us that it “denied any unpaid”, that “the second has been assured” in recent hours and that “the LOSC has been informed.“

Transfer of Jean Onana
The regional media indicates that the LOSC plans to initiate an action against the Girondins de Bordeaux. The reason: the non-payment of part of Jean Onana’s transfer compensation.
As a reminder, the Cameroonian international was recruited last summer by Bordeaux from LOSC. The Girondins concluded the transfer for €2 million according to the transfermarkt.
It is a late payment on a payment of the transfer compensation which tends the LOSC. The latter threatens to put the Girondins on notice according to La Voix du Nord.
Bordeaux had to solve this problem is it specified.
