Parts of the NBA schedule have passed for a few days. The high-profile Christmas Day program was released on Monday.
On Wednesday, NBA fans were finally treated to the full slate of games.
Opening night is October 18. Defending champion Golden State Warriors and Stephen Curry open their season at home against James Lebron and the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Dubs will also be receive their championship rings. The Eastern Conference champion Boston Celtics will face the Philadelphia 76ers. Earlier this week, the league also announced that it would not play any games on November 7 for Election Day.
The Memphis Grizzlies and Warriors, who enjoyed a memorable run in the Western Conference Semifinals last season, will meet in one of the Christmas Day games, granting a Christmas wish for the Grizzlies superstar I Morant.
Last summer I lamented that the Grizzlies didn’t have a Christmas game.
This is not the case in 2022, and Morant is eager to face Vert Draymond during the holiday slate.
