The steps to be followed by the media that wish to cover the event that will be held in Brazil from September 2 to 11 are reported below.
The Argentine Basketball Confederation (CAB) informs that the FIBA regional office has opened the accreditation process for the media interested in covering the AmeriCup 2022, which will be held in Brazil from September 2 to 11.
The reception of applications is now open, so those interested must enter the FIBA Media Portal and follow the steps indicated by the platform.
By registering on the FIBA Media portal, media representatives will create a profile – if they have not already created such a profile from previous coverage – to manage all their future accreditation requests. After selecting the FIBA AmeriCup 2022 tournament in the “My Events” section, all required registration fields must be completed.
After completing the form and sending it, they will receive a reception email. This email does not guarantee the approval of the request, but a subsequent confirmation by the press authorities must be awaited, which will arrive by means of another email.
The deadline to request an accreditation is Sunday, August 28 (23:59 CET).
