Porspoder Tournament
On Saturday afternoon, the men’s and women’s finals closed the summer tournament organized by the Porspoder Tennis Club. This tournament, which began on July 23, is part of the National Circuit of Major Tournaments (CNGT) and was endowed, for its fifteenth edition, with 10,600 euros in prizes. In the semi-finals, which were played in the morning, the victory went to Galès against Pierre then to Réco against Lestir in the men’s category. Among the ladies, Mohr beat Bataille and Gravouil won against Doré.
The men’s final was dominated by Réco (- 15) against Galès (- 2/6). In the first set, Réco managed to take the service of his opponent in the 8th game, concluded after 30 minutes on an ace. The second set was more unbalanced since Réco took twice the service of Galès, tired by the efforts made in his semi-final played in the morning.
Among the ladies, the match was more disputed. Gravouil (n° 60) won the first set against an opponent who committed a lot of unforced errors. Mohr (n° 35) recovered afterwards and won the next two sets thanks, in particular, to his very powerful serve, against Gravouil who had not been unworthy.

Gentlemen. Semi-finals: R. Galès beat H. Pierre : 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 and A. Réco beat L. Lestir : 6-2, 6-1.
Final: A. Réco beat R. Welsh: 6-3, 6-2.
Dames. Semi-finals: B. Mohr beats E. Bataille: 6-2, 6-1 and T. Gravouil beats P. Doré: 7-5, 6-7, 6-4.
Final: C. Mohr beats T. Gravouil: 4-6, 6-3, 6-4.
