Twelve players have been selected to take part in the next two 2023 World Cup qualifiers with the United States. Among them are John Jenkins and Eric Mika, who went through the Betclic ELITE in 2021-2022.
The United States Basketball Federation, USA Basketball has just unveiled a list of 12 players selected to participate in the next two games of the 2023 World Cup qualifiers. The Americans will face Uruguay on August 25 and then Colombia August 29. Within this selection, there are two players who passed through the French championship last season. It is John Jenkins (formerly Gravelines-Dunkirk) and Eric Mika (ex Bourg en Bresse), two players already called up during the previous window.
With two successes during this window, Jim Boylen’s band could then validate their ticket for the 2023 World Cup from the next qualifying window, in November.
The American selection for the next international window:
Tyler Cavanaugh, Mickael Frazier II, Dewan Hernandez, John Jenkins, Eric Mika, Robert Woodard II, Malik Ellison, Langston Gallaway, DaQuan Jeffries, Mac McClung, David Stockton, McKinley Wright.
