Swiatek unbeatable N.1, Badosa steals 3rd place from Sakkari

The Polish Iga Swiatek firmly retains the lead in the WTA ranking published on Monday ahead of the Estonian Anett Kontaveit and the Spaniard Paula Badosa, new world N.3 in place of the Greek Maria Sakkari.

Swiatek, 21, has almost double the points compared to her runner-up (8396 against 4476).

Crowned Sunday in San Jose, the Russian Daria Kasatkina, up three places, obtained the best ranking of her career, and is now in 9th place.

American Danielle Collins fell eight places to 17th position.

The French N.1 Caroline Garcia, 34th, lost two places just like Alizé Cornet, 40th.

Diane Parry also fell two places to 78th while Océane Dodin rose two places to 87th position.
