They know their way around DAZN with customer criticism. In any case, the outcry was great when the streaming service recently doubled its prices. Now technical problems caused trouble. And that of all things in the Bayern game.
ZNumerous users of the DAZN streaming service complained about technical problems during the broadcast of the Bundesliga game between FC Bayern Munich and VfL Wolfsburg. Football fans reported on social networks during the first half that they could not log in or were logged out involuntarily. “Our colleagues are already working on fixing the problem as quickly as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience,” DAZN tweeted, among other things, in response to complaints.
In the middle of the second half, commentator Jan Platte apologized for technical problems on behalf of the streaming service. “I hope everything is running smoothly and smoothly now,” said Platte.
DAZN doubled its prices
The Internet sports broadcaster recently shocked its users with a significant price increase. The cost of a monthly subscription has practically doubled, going from 14.99 to 29.99 euros. The cheapest option for a DAZN subscription is 24.99 euros per month if customers sign up for a year. DAZN had already received a lot of criticism in January when the costs for new customers had been drastically increased.
The increase in price is due to the expansion course of the online broadcaster. DAZN had recently invested massively and outperformed competitors in bidding for the media rights of the German Football League and Uefa.
Also this season, the streaming provider can show Bundesliga games live on Friday evening and Sunday afternoon. In addition, almost all matches of the Champions League with the five German teams are on offer.
