Great reception at the 78th edition of the Travessia del Port in Blanes. Approximately 350 swimmers took part in this traditional popular event, which had not been held since 2019, as the pandemic had forced the postponement of the 2020 and 2021 editions. One of the things that did not change was the route. Since the last edition, a circular circuit was established, that is to say, with start and finish at the same point. With a distance of almost one kilometer (900 meters), the participants, of all ages and physical conditions, gradually completed the route. In men, Mau Pou (09’50 minutes) overtook Ricard Belomonte, multiple winner of the crossing, in the final sprint to reach the finish line. In the female category, the best time was Rocío Sojo (10’57 seconds), followed by Àuria Suñé (11’02) and Paula Bautista (11’32).
