Sports practice – The Pass’Sport is extended and extended until the end of December 2022

Does your child want to join the swim club but membership is too expensive? Does your young teenager want to practice judo? Are you a scholarship student and would you like to join an athletics club? Did you know that it is possible to benefit from the “Pass’Sport” for young people aged 6 to 30 under certain conditions? The help of 50 € for registration in a sports club is extended until December 31, 2022 and is open to new beneficiaries.

A decree published in Official newspaper of August 4, 2022 extends the duration of the “Pass’Sport” system until December 31, 2022, extends it to the benefit of certain categories of students and determines the structures authorized to receive aid.

What is it about ?

The Pass’Sport is a flat-rate aid (sports allowance) paid by the State for the taking out of a license with a sports club by a young person aged 6 to 17 benefiting from the back-to-school allowance or the allowance for education of the disabled child. the Pass’Sport is now open to people between the ages of 16 and 30 on June 30, 2021 who benefited in 2021 from the allowance for disabled adults, but also to students on a higher education grant or even annual aid in the framework of health and social training for the 2022-2023 academic year. It reduces the cost of the license or membership that must be paid when registering.

What is its amount?

Help is 50 € per child.

For example, if you register your 2 children aged 9 and 14 in a club, the State will pay 2 times 50 € that’s to say 100 €.

Who can benefit ?

The aid is for children aged 6 to 17 whose families receive:

  • the back-to-school allowance (ARS);

or be between 6 and 19 years old and receive:

  • education allowance for disabled children (AEEH);

or be between 16 and 30 years old and receive:

  • disabled adult allowance (AAH);

or be a student up to the age of 28 and benefit, no later than October 15, 2022, from:

  • grant based on social criteria for higher education or annual aid granted by the regional centers for university and school works;
  • means-tested annual aid within the framework of health and social training.

How to take advantage of it?

  1. Receiving the individual code:
    Beneficiaries of ARS, AEEH or AAH, you will receive July August an email from the Ministry of Sports announcing that you or your child are eligible for the Pass’Sport (the beneficiary appears in the subject of the message) and sending you the individual Pass’Sport code.
    Eligible students, you will receive in September-Octoberan email from the Ministry of Sports informing you of the individual Pass’Sport code.
  2. You can then go to the eligible sports structure of your choice and present the Pass’Sport code to obtain 50  €immediate deduction from the cost of membership which is returned to the club and/or the sports license transferred to the federation.

Where to use it?

The Pass’Sport can be used :

  • in sports associations affiliated with approved sports federations;
  • in the Priority Districts of the city or in a labeled territory « Educational cities »with all approved sports associations whether or not they are affiliated with a sports federation;

Associations must offer a free discovery of their activity before confirming the license.

An experiment from September 1 to December 31, 2022 in other structures

On an experimental basis, students aged at most 28 years of age and who benefit, no later than October 15, 2022, from annual aid subject to means, within the framework of health and social training, will also be able to benefit from the system by subscribing. to an entity offering, organizing or practicing a sporting activity, whether leisure or not, having a profit-making purpose and falling under one of the following codes of the nomenclature of French activities (NAF):

  • 9311Z: management of sports facilities;
  • 9312Z: sports club activities;
  • 9329Z: other recreational and leisure activities;
  • 9313Z: activities of physical culture centers;
  • 8551Z: teaching of sports and leisure activities;
  • 6420Z: activities of holding companies.

The eligibility of these entities is subject to their signature, before September 30, 2022, of a charter of commitment proposed by the ministry in charge of sports.
