The Rostock basketball Bundesliga club continues to rely on Stefan Ilzhöfer, who has extended his contract until 2024. The small forward is the eleventh player the promoted team will start the new BBL season with. For Seawolves coach Christian Held he is “incredibly important”.
Rostock. Stefan Ilzhöfer will continue to hunt for points for the Rostock Seawolves Bundesliga team in the future. This was announced by the BBL promoted on Monday. After “good talks” with coach Christian Held and the club management, he thanked him for their trust in “being able to wear the Seawolves jersey for another two years,” said Ilzhöfer.
“The club and the environment are very important to me. I feel good in Rostock and it’s great to be able to develop the Seawolves project and be a part of it,” the 27-year-old said in a club statement.
