“Samurai Japan” U-15 team announces 20 players to become world number one for the first time.

Selecting the strongest members of junior high school hardball with digital tryouts

On the 8th, NPB Enterprise will participate in the “5th WBSC U-15 World Cup” held in Hermosillo, Mexico from 26th to September 4th. 20 players announced. Japan is aiming for its first victory since the predecessor “15U World Championship” was established in 2012.

In a tournament with 13 participating countries, Japan is included in Group B along with Panama, Colombia and France, and will face the opening round first match against Panama at 11:30 am (Japan time) on the 28th.

The Japanese national team is coached by Yoshitaka Katori (former Giants), and includes the Japan Little Senior Junior High School Baseball Association, the Japan Junior Baseball Federation (Boys League), the All Japan Junior Baseball Federation (Young League), and Japan Pony Baseball. Selected from players belonging to the Association and the Kyushu Hardball Boys’ Baseball Association (Fresh League). It is a member who was selected through a digital tryout using videos from this spring.
