Salač achieved the result of his life in Silverstone. Bagnaia reigned supreme in MotoGP

Racer Filip Salač once again improved his maximum results in Moto2. The Czech rider took ninth place in the Great Britain Grand Prix, improving by one position from the previous race in the Netherlands. In MotoGP, Francesco Bagnaia triumphed for the second time in a row.

Filip Salač started the race from the sixth row when he took 17th place in Saturday’s qualifying. The start did not go well for the Czech competitor. And so at first it didn’t look like he could fight for the top ten.

After a few laps, however, Salač got up to the racing pace and with a very good performance managed to finish in an excellent ninth place. He had to carefully defend this position until the finish line, which he eventually succeeded in doing. In Silverston, England, the 20-year-old rider scored the best result in Moto2 in his career.

He was happy about the victory Augusto Fernández, who recorded his third win in a row. The Spaniard did not have an ideal start and fell outside the medal ranks. However, he subsequently fought his way in front of fellow countryman Alonso Lopez, who surprisingly led for a long time.

In MotoGP, Francesco Bagnaia triumphed for the second time in a row, taking advantage of Johann Zarco’s hesitation. The Frenchman started from pole position, then drove for a long time in first place. However, he did not reach the finish line after the fall, and will continue to wait for his first victory in the strongest cubic capacity. Championship leader and defending MotoGP world champion Fabio Quartararo then finished eighth. The second man in the overall standings was even worse Aleix Espargaró, who had a nasty fall on Saturday.
