Carlos Alcaraz (19). The Spanish prodigy bagged $5.9 million in prize money plus $5 million. Only a matter of time before his sponsors pay him more than he can earn on the pitch…
Platz 9
Venus WIlliams (42). The US legend still rakes in $12m a year despite playing a meager three tournaments. Williams has slipped to 1445 in the world rankings.
Platz 8
Kei Nishikori (32). The Japanese has often been injured recently and received only $ 200,000 in prize money in 2022. He doesn’t have to worry about his financial future. He still took in 13 million in 2022 through huge sponsorship deals.
Platz 7
Daniil Medvedev (26). The number 1 in the world rankings only in 7th place on the coal list! In terms of sport, the Russian is doing well, collecting 7.3 million dollars on the field. There are also 12 million off the field. A lot of money – but there are still 6 stars ahead of him. Who? Continue reading!
Platz 6
Emma Raducanu (19). THE climber of the past year. At that time only ranked 150 in the world, now she is 11. Prize money 2022: $ 3.1 million. In addition, a spectacular 18 million through their XXL deals with an airline and a jewelry giant, among others.

Novak Djokovic (35). The fuss about his vaccination status and the associated exclusion from major tournaments really cost the Serbs money. Some sponsors are gone. Despite this, he raked in around $27m in 2022 (7m on court, 20m off).
Platz 4
Rafael Nadal (36). The Spaniard won the first two Grand Slams of the year, but was then unable to compete in the semi-finals at Wimbledon due to an injury. Bitter! Many fans hoped he could win all four majors of the year for the first time. And yet: On the court he collected 6.4 million dollars, off the court 25 million – through sponsorship deals and investments (including in a trendy restaurant).

Serena Williams (40). The American made it to number 3 in the ranking despite only receiving a prize of $100,000. But 35 (!) million in sponsorship money is hard to beat. Among other things, Williams is the figurehead of a sporting goods manufacturer.
Platz 2
Naomi Osaka (24). The Japanese is THE face of women’s tennis. 1.2 million prize money. FIFTY-FIVE MILLION Marketing Coal. Osaka, recently frequently injured, cooperates with around 20 brands and is a co-founder of a sports agency. Ascending trend.

Roger Federer (41). On the court: ZERO dollar revenue. Off the court: NINETY million dollars. Federer hasn’t been on the court for 14 months, it doesn’t hurt his account. Sponsorship deals with an Asian fashion giant, a bank and a watch brand, as well as a stake in a shoe label. Federer is and remains number 1 on the coal list.
