In an interview with the Gazzetta dello Sport, Stefano Pioli, Milanese coach, talks about the transfer of the Belgian nugget. “We met on Wednesday morning at Milanello with the staff. I showed him some videos of our game concepts. He was very attentive, from what he said, he is very intelligent. He understands football. And he is also very talented. You can see it in the way he touches the ball: he is elegant, beautiful to look at.”

While the former Bruges player will be presented this Friday at 2 p.m., his new coach admits having asked for advice from … Divock Origi. “He said to me: ‘he is half Havertz and half Kakà'”.

Pioli also removed the doubt as to the first minutes of the Devil in his new colors. “De Ketelaere will play a few minutes in Vicenza and on Sunday with the substitutes against Pergolettese. Expectations are high, but we have to give him time. I was the first to say that we should not rush. He can become a European top in 2 or 3 years.”
