Piatek’s transfer to the ambitious employer of Bayern legend Franck Ribéry was already indicated weeks ago. But then the trail was lost, and the talks obviously stalled. Shortly before the end of the transfer period, Salernitana appears to have closed the deal.
In the meantime, Piatek has also been traded with other clubs, such as Süper Lig club Galatasaray or FC Copenhagen. In the Danish capital, they are now making do with the commitment of Andreas Cornelius (29), who comes from the Turkish champions Trabzonspor.
