It was the right-hander’s 12th start this season, in 32 games.

The victory was taken by Blake Snell, who worked five scoreless innings, accepting three hits and striking out 10.

For his part, Edmundo Sosa was 1-1 in the Philadelphia Phillies’ 6-0 loss to the New York Mets at Citi Field.

Sosa is hitting .191 so far this season.
