After the relegation suffered by Cerdanyola, caused by the RFEF’s decision to put Extremadura’s vacancy in the FEF 2nd division up for auction instead of rewarding sporting merits, as well as by the submissive role assumed by the Catalan Federation, the the vallesian team has decided to give up its participation in the Copa Catalunya. Cerdanyola was supposed to visit Municipal d’Olot today at 7 p.m. but has announced on social media that it will not play the match. That is why the Olotí team automatically goes to the second round of the Catalan Cup, scheduled for next weekend. The Garrotxins, however, will also play a friendly match against La Pobla de Mafumet, also at 7 p.m. at the Municipal.
