The Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association (NBA) are not considering signing Carmelo Anthony, according to reporter Mike Singer.
Previously, information appeared in the North American media that the 38-year-old basketball player, who is currently a free agent, could return to the team. However, such an option is not considered, as Denver already has a complete lineup.
Anthony represented the Nuggets from 2003 to 2011, and it was in this club that he made his NBA debut. In eight seasons in the Denver club, the American played 564 games in the main tournament, scoring an average of 24.8 points, as well as 45 matches in the “play-off” tournament with an average of 24.5 points.
After being traded from the Nuggets, Anthony also played for the New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Lakers, which he represented last season. In 69 games, he averaged 13.3 points and 4.2 steals.
