NFL: Talks between the NFL and the Players Association have progressed in the Watson file

Talks between the NFL and the NFL Players Association over disciplinary action in the case of Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson have progressed.

However, according to what the Canadian Press, it is not certain that the two parties will find an outcome. They would try to find a compromise before former prosecutor Peter C. Harvey declares the stay.

Commissioner Roger Goodell enlisted Harvey in the NFL camp to hear the suspension request.

Last week, Watson was ready to accept an eight-game suspension and pay a $5 million fine, according to the Canadian Press.

It is not yet determined whether Harvey is waiting for an agreement from both parties before his decision.
