New challenge for 3×3: the Nations League U23 starts

The Nations League U23 is just around the corner. The 3×3 teams finalize details for next week’s debut. The premiere will be next Saturday 8/13, when the first of the six tournaments that will be in dispute will be played.

For both selected there will be six days in which the teams will be divided into two zones of three (3) and will face each other in the all-against-all mode. The winners of the zones will access the finals.

At the same time, it is important to note that this competition format allows each selected to summon five (5) players in each branch.
It is worth remembering that the Nations League will put into play six different tournaments, one per day of competition, and will deliver important points for the ranking of the U23 category.

The teams that will participate in the tournament are Argentina, Chile, Puerto Rico, the United States, Venezuela and the Dominican Republic.

In the last few hours, Argentina confirmed its male and female squads (see below) to face the contest that will take place from Saturday, August 13 (until Friday, August 19) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Those summoned in the female branch are: Sofia Acevedo, Malvina D’agostino, Camila Peri, Malena Sosa Velasco, Paulina Villanueva and Sofia Castillo as a coach.

The men’s roster is made up of: Joaquin Ortiz, Philip Bonfigli, Nicholas Chiaraviglio, Augustin Sigel, John Cross Border and Luciano Santin as coach.

Both selected will train in Buenos Aires next Wednesday (10) and Thursday (11), leaving for Santo Domingo on Friday (12) at dawn.
