Continuing its transfer efforts for the new season, Fenerbahçe Men’s Basketball Team continues to reinforce the team. The Yellow-Navy Blues have finally reached a two-year deal with one of their former players, Serbian basketball player Nemanja Bjelica.
BASKETBALL STARTED IN THE 2007-2008 SEASON
Born on May 9, 1988 in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, Bjelica started playing basketball in Austria’s Arkadia Traiskirchen team in the 2007-2008 season.
CAREER ATTENDED 102 EUROLEAGUE AND 449 NBA MATCHES IN BPYUNCA
The 34-year-old basketball player last played for the Golden State Warriors in the NBA in the 2021-2022 season and won the championship here. The Serbian player averaged 6.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists for the Warriors. Bjelica played in 102 Euroleague and 449 NBA games throughout his career.
SILVER MEDAL AT THE 2014 WORLD CUP
The star player won silver medals at the 2009 European Championship and 2014 World Cup with the Serbian National Team.
