Vasilije Micic has decided: his future will still be in Europe and not in the USA.
The Serbian point guard, MVP of the 2021 and 2022 Final Four, told Sport Klub: “The deadline to go to the NBA was July 20, so if you haven’t heard any news about me, it means I stayed at Efes. I feel great in Istanbul, everything is perfect for me. I didn’t want to ruin my relationship with Efes. The NBA will be my next step, but I’m in no rush. Someone overseas still has doubts about me. There is, if you are European and your name is not Jokic or Doncic it is normal. But I’m happy at Efes and I don’t feel this urge to have to prove my worth elsewhere ”.
